The TK classes visited the Ireton Fire Station on Friday. The kids had so much fun and learned a lot from the firefighters!
The kids got to try on the firefighters' helmets and coats.
We even got to hear the siren outside.

We got to see a firefighter in all his gear so we wouldn't be scared if a firefighter ever came to save us!
We went on a tour of the fire station and got to see the ambulance and other trucks.
When we got back to school we wrote a thank you letter to the firefighters for letting us come see the fire station and teaching us how to be safe if there is ever a fire.
